Poppy Pendle: Follow your Passion

Hello Everyone, This is my first blog post and I would like to write a book review I read this week "Poppy Pendle"

Poppy Pendle was born in the little french bakery, in the town of Pottsbottom. Ever since then, she knew she was a baker. But her parents disapprove of her talent and instead want her to pay attention to her studies in witchcraft, in Ruthersfield, the prestigious girl's school of magic. She tries, again and again, to persuade her parents that she is a baker, but they just don’t understand. One day her parents go too far, making her turn to the darkest of magic. I really like the part when Poppy runs away to Patisserie Marie Claire because it really shows Poppy’s passion for baking and how far she’ll go to prove she is a baker. I also loved the character of Poppy. She is very persistent and friendly, and she sends out a great message: Follow your passion.
